Cold water swimming at Wardie Bay Beach and beyond
Open water swimming in the sea in Scotland most of the year is defined as coldwater swimming as the temperature seldom climbs over 15 degrees.
The waters around Scotland hardly ever pass the 15 degree celsius mark. This makes open water swimming here in the north, with the exception of maybe a few days during an exceptional warm summer, subject to coldwater swimming. This is a challenging experience on its own, the wild environment makes it a adventure every time and let's us connect to nature. Jumping and playing in the waves, floating, watching the sky above us or wildlife going about its business or training, improving strokes and achieving goals, the open water doesn't judge. It gives us a space to play, grow, relax and enjoy. Have a look at my weekly sessions, a daylong adventure or get contact to arrange a private class that is designed for your goals.
